Meet Our Board

Dan White

Dan White is the founder and President of Granting Others Dreams. As a successful entrepreneur who is intensely focused on helping others, Mr. White founded Dan White & Associates, a financial planning and retirement solutions agency which has been serving clients in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey since 1987. He is a sought after industry spokesperson being published in Forbes, Yahoo, the Philadelphia Business Journal, the Delaware County Daily Times, and MarketWatch.com. He hosts the “On The Money” radio program on WDEL 1150AM each Sunday morning, and has been featured nationally on Fox Business News. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Penn State and an MBA in Finance from Widener University. Dan and his wife, Cindy, have lived in the Garnet Valley community for more than 18 years, where Mr. White is an active coach and umpire for the Brandywine Youth Club.

 

Joseph A. Stigora, Ph.D.

Dr. Stigora is Professor Emeritus and former Chair of the Department of Communicative Disorders and Director of the Graduate Program at West Chester University. He also served as Chief of Speech Pathology at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has been an invited speaker at numerous institutions throughout the country, including the Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins University, Vanderbilt University, and the prestigious Peter Ladefoged Speech Science Laboratory at U.C.L.A. Dr. Stigora and his wife, Cynthia, currently serve as lay pastors for the Joy of Life Simple Church, which they host in their home in West Chester, PA. They have three children and six grandchildren.

 

Debbi Wright

Debbi Wright has been a real estate professional for more than 20 years and currently works with Weichert Realtors of Chadds Ford, PA. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors (PAR), and the Suburban West Realtors Association (SWRA) and she is a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES). She is an active member of the Reformed Presbyterian Church in Boothwyn, Pa., and has served on various committees over several years. She and her husband, Gil, have two grown daughters. They make their home in Aston, Pa.

Robert Strain

Bob Strain has owned and managed R&S Design Computer Services since 1987. Bob is a graduate of The Reformed Episcopal Seminary in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was an Associate Minister of Greater Exodus Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and served in that capacity for 12 years. Prior to ministering at Greater Exodus, Bob was Pastor at Faith Reformed Baptist Church in Media, Pennsylvania for 27years. Bob has traveled to several countries in Africa, Central and South America as well as Israel, Great Britain, Canada and across the United States as a speaker to churches, youth groups, missionaries and groups of pastors. Bob has also served on the Board of two local schools – a Charter School within the City of Philadelphia School District and an inner-city Christian school. Bob and Sherrie are members of Restoration Church PCA in Boothwyn, Pennsylvania and have been married for 47 years. They have two children and six grandchildren.

 

Cindy White

Mrs. White is a dedicated, stay-at-home Mom—a profession she has enjoyed for more than 25 years. She is member of the Reformed Presbyterian Church in Boothwyn, PA, where she serves on the worship and fellowship committees and assists with the church’s successful vacation bible school program. In her free time, she enjoys watching her sons play sports and cooking/baking with her youngest son. She has a heart for activities that involve helping children or the elderly. Celebrating more than 26 years of marriage, Cindy and Dan White have made their home in Garnet Valley, PA, since 1996 where they raised their four wonderful children.

 

Lynn Gormley

Lynn Gormley has been a Financial Analyst for GlaxoSmithKline for 15 years. She has also served as a Pastor’s Assistant at Reformed Presbyterian Church in Boothwyn, PA, for five years. She loves being involved in the lives of her husband and children at home, as well as her church, school, sports and in the community. She is actively involved with an adult Bible group in her local community’s housing center, as well as her church’s Kid’s Bible Club, and Child Evangelism Fellowship’s Good News Club at our local public school. She also enjoys spreading cheer by visiting “shut-ins” and nursing home residents. Mrs. Gormley and her husband, Tom, have been married for 11 years. Together, they have raised their five children in Upper Chichester for more than 20 years.

 

Marcy Anderson

Marcy Anderson is a proud alumnus of Notre Dame High School and she is also a graduate of Neuman University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Studies. She is blessed to have three married sons, a married stepdaughter, seven grandchildren and a large extended family. For many years she was an office administrator in the office of St. John Fisher Church, which allowed her to work closely with and for parishioners. She describes her experience serving at St. John’s as, “a most- fulfilling vocation.” Marcy makes her home in Boothwyn, PA.

 

Sherrie Strain

Sherrie Strain has worked at many jobs over the years – stay-at-home mom, banking, school secretary and, most recently, as Office Manager of a Philadelphia law firm where she has worked for 22 years. She is looking forward to retirement, spending time with her family and other opportunities for service in their church and community. Sherrie presently serves on a few ministry teams in their church. She and her husband, Bob, are members of Restoration Church PCA in Boothwyn, Pennsylvania and have been married for 47 years. They have two children and six grandchildren.
